Idaho Family Camping Trip 2012

We were so thankful to have all 5 of us in Idaho this year for the annual Stonoff reunion.  I believe this might have been the 32 year of the event.  We don't all usually make it anymore...Alaska is pretty far and all the kids work in the summer.  Karl even got off his commecial fishing boat this year to join us.

What a great time with over 55 family members over the time we were there!  Some cousins and 2nd cousins I met for the first time.  What a blessing and a joy!

Claire is going to need some new hiking shoes after this trip!

Claire has fun with the Miller cousins!  We are hoping to see them in Alaska this winter!

Although Karl has literally caught thousands of large fish this summer, he is thrilled to pull one out of No Name Lake.
Pete prepares for a hairy ride up the cliff...almost literally!

Family time on the drive back to Boise to catch our flights to Alaska.

We enjoyed the beautiful Sawtooth range as we drove across Idaho to arrive at our camping area.

Family picture of the 2nd week we were there.  All the Cromers joined us!

Kirsten and Claire check out a hotspring along the way...problem...it was 100 degrees outside!

Kirsten inspects the statue of Sacajawea in Salmon, ID

And the catch of the day is.....

Wild columbine was everywhere along the river banks.

Pete doing a little fly fishing along the little creek.

Pete, Karl, J.R. and me (Lenore) rode ATV's/motorcycles over to Big Timber and spent the day fly fishing.

Our two little tents, rental car and Charity's trailer and van behind.

Karl loves his little cousin!    Sarah enjoys some hands free eating!

Off to fly fish Big Timber

Group meals became quite large at times

The Steenbargers heading back to WA....:(

Ian and Karl climbed over the pass at No Name Lake.

The kids wait around while the boys/men make firewood nearby.  A great afternoon to enjoy the sun.
